Our Cornish Cross Broilers are raised in the positive way, providing plump, tender breast meat and good skin texture. We have developed special pens which we cover every night to control stress. They are moved in the spacious, secure pens every day to clean pasture.
The chicks are premium Cornish Cross birds from the same hatchery that produces our natural brown egg layers. Because of their rapid growth and weight gains, they are sometimes nicknamed “Cornish Giants.” We raise them without the use of medicines and hormones (stimulants). They will weigh from 5-8 pounds at nine weeks.
